         We have the pleasure to announce you that the Faculty of Law Cluj-Napoca – “Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University – organizes the International Conference on “The Efficiency of Legal Norms, 6th Edition – “National and International Legal Norms Regarding Children” to be held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on May 25th – 27th 2017.

        We are writing to you on behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee inviting you to participate and spread the word among your colleagues and other professional contacts.

        The main partners of the Conference are the Romanian Institute for Human Rights and the Romanian Academy Cluj Branch, “George Bariţiu” Institute of History, Department of Social and Humanistic Research. Other partners are presented on the Conference website.

        The participants are academics, researchers and practitioners. The conference languages are Romanian, English and French

The language for all workshops is Romanian only.

      Proposed topics on the subject are: Shared responsibilities between the state and the family regarding children; Support measures for families; Primary and secondary education; Protection of children by civil norms; Protection of children by criminal norms; Protection of children under human rights; International norms protecting children; Children's Rights and Business Principles; Juvenile delinquency; War, migration and child’s rights; Health policies regarding children; Child abuse and neglect; Ethics and law in protecting children.
        These are only some of the themes we propose, without limiting the topics on the subject. 

        The Conference Proceedings will be published in FIAT IUSTITIA (-link), journal indexed in EBSCO (-link), RePEc (-link), OAJI (-link) and CEEOL (-link) databases.
